Three Solid Gold Making Techniques in World of Warcraft

There are numerous great gold making techniques in World of Warcraft, tons really. Here are three of the more useful ones I’ve found in recently.

Angerclaw Maulers

Located in the midst of Felwood are numerous groupings of Angerclaw Maulers. These mobs are known for their quick respawns, usually starting to respawn as soon as you have finished killing the last one in any given area. There is limited downtime, meaning maximum gold. These mobs are often times ignored because they do not drop a large amount of green items. The do, however drop large amounts of claws, jaws, bones, and other stackable vendor trash that sell for decent amounts of gold. They are also skinnable for Auction House items. These mobs return about 40-50 gold an hour.

Crusader Enchant Formula

As one of the most eagerly sought out formulas in World of Warcraft, the Crusader Enchant is a great way to make some quick gold. The only way for a player to find these enchants is to take them off of Scarlet Spellbinders. Located near Heartglen at the tower along the path there, these monsters will very rarely drop the formula. However, that formula sells for as much as 300 gold. So, if it takes 3 hours to get one, it is well worth the time spent. And because these are decent mobs to start with, even if it takes 3 hours to find the enchant, you will pick up numerous green, blue and vender trash items that can garner you even more gold. The only problem that might arise is the occasional farming that occurs in this region. However, if it is clear, you will find that you can make all of your time’s worth in gold and then some. The average time to find the enchant varies. Some people have pulled one in as little as one hour and others in four hours. The drop rate is set very low, but if you get extremely lucky, you could make massive amounts of gold here in very little time.

The Demonslaying Enchant Formula

Located in Azshara, in the farthest Southwestern corner are the Highborne Apparitions and Lichlings. These mobs are fairly easy to kill with a low hit point count and drop mageweave along with lots of blue and green items. For that reason, they are perfect targets for farming. One of the nicer things they drop though is the Demonslaying Enchant Formula. If the area is not being farmed too heavily by other players, you can make as much as 50 gold an hour here.

World of Warcraft gold guides can greatly reduce your time farming for that epic mount. However, what you must realize is that 80% of "Warcraft Guides" out there are scams, so be very careful.

MMORPGS: World of Warcraft, a Review

Introduction

If you're into computer games, you probably have heard of World of Warcraft, the latest hit produced by Blizzard Entertainment, and you're probably aware what an MMORPG is. If you're not, let me explain it quickly. A MMORPG is a massivly multiplayer online roleplaying game that allows thousands of players to play in a persistant game world.

World of Warcraft currently entertains close to 7 million people world wide. It has drawn many of the mmorpg veterans but also introduced a lot of new people to the genre. Why is world of warcraft so successful? Well. I think it comes down to more than one thing.

First of MMORPGs are usually not that easy to get into, often the player is presented with a akward interface, tons of options and a lot of things going on around them in general the first time the log onto the game. Blizzard has done a pretty solid job in keeping the interface simple and stupid, allowing even newbie players to get into it at a quick pace. Hints and Tips help guide the true MMORPG newbie along as well. When the developers of the game created the interface, and gameplay in general their goal was for it to be easy to get into it, but to be hard to master.

They have definitely accomplished the first part, the second part can be argued about. What defines a good player in an MMORPG basically comes down to two things.

1) Does he know his character and the abilities

2) Does he pay attention

There are no twitch skills involved, and in my opinion if youre looking for a competitive game, current mmorpgs - including WoW - are not the place to look at. If you want skillbased competition stick to RTS and FPS games.

The second thing that makes wow so successful is mostlikely the name of the producer and their huge fanbase - which they deserve by all means - after having released such great games as the diablo and warcraft series, which were all huge hits.

Let's get to the review part :)

Character Creation

Like every MMORPG or MUD out there the journey always begins with the character creation. You get to pick your site - alliance or horde , your race and a few visual features. Character customization is definitely one of the game's weakest points, the diversity and amount of features to select and change for character remind of Everquest which was released almost 8 years ago. You get to chose

* between a handful of faces

* skin tone

* between a handful of haircuts

* between a handful of facial hair styles

* hair color

It is probably not a huge deal, and its certainly nothing game breaking, a bit more would have been nice though.

First steps

As you take your first steps within WoW, getting used to the user interface, you will quickly notice that the game is very quest driven. You can earn most of your character's experience via quests, you will still be grinding mobs for exp once in a while though.

The starting quests also lead you along nicely, out of the starting area to the bigger towns and into the deep dungeons

The world

The amount of detail that was put into the world of warcraft is amazing and stunning. The cartoony style may not be everyones cup of tea, but whether you like it or not you cannot dismiss that the world has a lot of character. It is filled with content too, and you will find yourself stumbling from point of interest to point of interest.

The dungeons

The dungeon instances, which are zones that belong to you and your group, while pretty linear most of the time are also amazingly done. The boss encounters are fun, and the best loot is gotten from doing instance runs. The dungeon instances are supposed to be the group part of the game (aside from pvp) and it would be unwise to enter them alone unless youre like 20 levels stronger than the mobs inside the dungeon.

The way to 60, and beyond

Most people ive talked to tell me they have the most fun leveling their characters to level 60, because it is quick paced most of the time, and only slows down rarely. The quests are done well, and there is just so much to discover.

Once you hit 60 youre basically stuck with three things to do though

a) do instance runs (raids) for items

b) grind monsters for money

c) pvp

Now this might sound as if it should be enough. But the core problem is this: there is no character advancement beyond 60 other than getting items. These items are gotten by raiding elite dungeons with your guild, playing the bazaar game or by gaining rank while pvping.

Right now, if youre a raider, you raid so you can raid more. There is no reason to take that super dagger of stabbing into a normal 5 man dungeons and just carnage stuff left and right, other than for the sake of carnageing - is that even a word.

The game at this point, 2 years after its release, direly needs some alternate advancement, luckily the expansion (The Burning Crusade) is right around the corner, so that should help out some for now.

Server Issues

This is were i have an axe to grind, so pardon my rant

Ever since wow was released , the game has had severe sever stability issues. I guess they did not expect the kind of amount of people to buy the game back then and got surprised. Not a big deal, most of the MMORPGs face server issues the first few days of the game's release, even if is not as popular as wow.

But even after 2 years of development it is sad and annoying to see that the same server problems still exist, while not as severe, and the servers need to go down for maintenance weekly.

Content Updates

We all know it, Blizzard likes to do things correctly, and they always take their time. The thing is, that this is a MMORPG. People need to be handed new content almost constantly, waiting 3-4 months between content updates that deliver content that was promised to be in the game when it was released just seems weak. Then again i can certainly appreciate the amount of work that must be needed to create the content. It wouldnt be so bad if there was actually some way of alternative character advancement.

This review may sound a bit harsh and dont get me wrong, WoW is an amazing game, and what the artists did is just mind boggling. I leveled 3 characters to level 60, and as i was progressing along through the vastly different world zones of the game there was always this thought on mind.

Wow is an amazing online world, but it is as if they do nothing with it. Where is the dynamic world, that i imagined when i first read about WoW in 2002. There has been a world event of the opening of a raid instance that involved the players gathering resources for a month or two and then battling in a war like scenario to unlock the dungeon. While this is definitely a step in the right direction it is not enough. Next generation MMORPGs need to be developed with dynamic behaviour in mind. The world needs to change and feel less static.

Fazit

World of warcraft is a great game, and you will definitely enjoy leveling your character. After that it is uncertain, you will have to see for yourself. Doing raid instances can be fun, unless you dont like to rely on people. PVP can be fun too if youre into that kind of thing. Heck, even trying to amass huge amounts of virtual money can be fun to some people.

General Sales Tips for World of Warcraft Auction House

The 0.99 Rule

This is a common sales technique that is already used by shops and companies throughout the world and it is still just as useful in World of Warcraft You should always try to sell an item for 99s instead of 1g or 99g instead of 100g as buyers always tend to see the different grade in money (Copper, Silver, Gold) more readily than the actual amount.

The loss to you? Nearly Negligible. What do you gain? The buyer would most probably buy your 99s item over the other guy’s 1g item or cause someone to buy via impulse if his still on the fence on whether to purchase the item or not.

This little trick works even better if you actually use that as your Buyout price instead of the bid amount and is arguably the easiest way to make the item that your selling much more appealing without any significant investment.

Nobody can afford that much

Have you always wanted to buy 5 swiftthistle instead of 10 and realized only stacks of 20 are on sale or you wanted to buy 10 Fadeleaf when only stacks of 20 are available? The simple fact remains, many sellers always place stacks of 20s when nobody needs or can afford that much! By simply selling in stacks of 5 for relatively expensive but high demand ingredients, you can greatly increase your chance of selling off your stuff.

Auctioneer Mod

Always have the Auctioneer Mod! If you want to make great profits through the Auction House, this is a mandatory mod, it allows you to monitor prices of items in Auction House, which allows you to sell low and buy high. Trying to earn profits through the 'Supply and Demand' concept would be much easier however this strategy is for another time :)

How To Profit From Farmers In World of Warcraft

Is There an Easier Way?
Since farmers work only the areas proven most profitable, you now have a nice list of hunting grounds for your own pursuit of gold. But actually, there’s another way to profit by your knowledge of professional farming patterns that doesn’t require you to fill your friends list with the names of people you who aren’t actually interested in chatting with and to scope out what these relative strangers are doing. All you really need is some information about shift changes.

Shift Changes
6/12 Server Time The U.S. WoW servers are set to Pacific Time. Though Jakarta's time zone is 14 hours ahead of this, all the Indonesian farmers (as far as I know) change shifts at 6 AM and PM Server Time. This is also true of most Chinese farmers.

Some Chinese Farmers Are a Bit Early
A minority of Chinese farmers change shifts 1.5 hours earlier than that; i.e., 4:30 Server Time, both AM and PM.

Halftime Quotas
If there are half time quotas imposed on farmers, they will be due at noon and midnight Server Time for most farmers, and at 10:30 AM and PM for a minority of the Chinese.

Sell Off Times
Farmers usually start spamming the AH with their sales about half an hour before their quotas are due.

Grace
If a farmer has had trouble moving product and is behind quota, he can sometimes prevail on his partner to let him stay on the account for a few extra minutes so that he can continue to push his goods. I’ve seen this “grace” period stretch to half an hour, but only for farmers whom I know to be on particularly good terms with their partners.

Summary
So to summarize, there are major daily sell offs on the IF Trade Channel at around 5:30-6:30 AM and PM, and Minor sell offs from 11:30-12:30 AM and PM, and at 10-11, and 4-5. Most of the items are sold during the 1 st half hour of the period, but the closer to the “close of business” it gets, the more desperate the sellers become.

Where You Come In What Farmers Want and What Farmers Need Though a farmer would like to get as much gold as possible for her items so she can increase her cache, she has to collect at least enough to satisfy her quota.

Catch the Blowout You will see a pattern starting at around 5:30 AM and PM every day. Characters will start hawking items on the IF market channel at around 11:30. The prices will probably be competitive but not lowball.

It Doesn’t Hurt to Let the Farmer Know that You’re Interested in Her Item Early on

If a price isn’t stated in the spam, you can send a whisper and ask for it. As time passes and the bewitching hour nears, the prices of any unsold items will drop drastically. The fire sale has started and true bargains are to be had. Whisper inquiries to the same farmers you’ve queried 20 minutes before and you’ll find that they’re now asking a lot less. Make an even lower counter offer and don’t be surprised if it’s accepted.

If you make a lowball offer on one of these sell-off items at about 10 minutes before the hour and it’s rejected, don’t be surprised if at a minute or two before 6:00, the seller gets back to you and, to the best of their non-English-speaking ability, asks you if you’re still interested in their item. (That’s why it can be a good idea to send the farmer a message or two earlier in the session. You want your name to spring readily to mind when their desperation hits the critical mark.) They may still try to get a higher price out of you but if you stick to your guns for a minute or so of bargaining, you’ll probably get the item at the price you named.

Of course, farmers who stay on past the ends of their shifts, while their boss and/or partner breathe impatiently down there necks, are even more amenable to agreeing to ridiculously under-market offers; so keep looking for bargains after 6:00 as well.

A Single Example (Though I Could Provide Many)

I’m not saying that at sellout time, farmers will settle for pennies on the dollar (sorry, I mean copper on the gold), but they will sell an item at a price that will let you make a nifty profit from a quick resale. For example, I’ve purchased Krol Blades from farmers who were very well aware of their true market value for 600 gold and then resold them in the AH with my auction being bought out at 950 in less than 12 hours. I’d say that earning 350 gold overnight compares well with most of the techniques you’ll find in forums on gold farming.

(By the way, a humorous sidelight of my first such Krol transaction is that the Blade was the first item I ever listed in the AH at anywhere near the thousand-gold range. As soon as that item was in the AH, I started getting whispers from strangers—in Chinese! I know this seems to belie my earlier contention that not all commercial farming takes place in China, but I still stand by that assertion. Apparently though, Chinese farmers themselves are under this same misapprehension since they seem to take it for granted that anyone auctioning such a high ticket item had to be one of their own.)

Don't Wanna Get Caught - Don't Use A Bot - What Not To Do In World Of Warcraft

For World of Warcraft gamers there is nothing they dislike more than a new gamer who uses such things as cheats and cheat codes to progress quickly through the game. Another annoyance, and something which is banned from the World of Warcraft game site, is a player who uses a World of Warcraft bot.

For those unaware of it, a game bot is an automated service or software that will emulate human behavior. By using a World of Warcraft bot, players will be able to progress through the levels more quickly, or to level up faster. This is cheating. In fact, November of 2006, Blizzard banned more ten thousand gamers from World of Warcraft for using bots to take them through the leveling and the grinding processes of the game. This action of banning over 10,000 users did not make much difference, though, now they just try not to get caught in the act of botting.

The reason Blizzard banned using World of Warcraft bots is because it's against the Terms of Service which you agreed to when you signed on for the game. This includes third party automating services, third party power leveling services as well as the use of hacks, data mining and cheats. Make sure you fully read the Terms of Service before you play.

The problem with that, is that many people don't bother to read the Terms of Service but will just click on the agree button to get the game ball rolling. Or if you do read it, you only read the beginning few paragraphs and skip, or skim through the rest, which could explain how you might miss the reference to not using a World of Warcraft bot or a third party automating service!

All in all, the best thing that you could do would be to skip the World of Warcraft bot to help get you through the levels and actually learn to play the game for yourself. After all, that's what you got the game for in the first place, isn't it?

World Of Warcraft Horde Guide

I began playing World of warcraft some 3 months ago, wondering what all the fuss is about after seeing the game featured both on newspapers and tv programs. How can it be that such a game could be so popular? The answer is in its addictiveness.

My experience of playing role playing games began and ended quite quickly when they hit computer screens as text based adventures where there were no graphics and all was left to our imagination. Even when they started to introduce graphics RPGs still held very little appeal. On the other hand when you play World of Warcraft and similar games like Everquest - that can be played online with other players - you become more and more drawn into a new world that, if you are not careful, will replace the real one.

There is incredible depth to the game even once you complete all quests and reach the final level of the game. You get more incentive to play whether you prefer playing alone or with other online players and friends, going on Epic quests or raids against territories and towns held by the opposing faction which is the case of Horde players is the Alliance faction.

In fact if anything you really must try and get to the last level of the game as soon as possible because that is when the game becomes really interesting. But to do so can really take months unless you play 24/7 and even then it can takes several days or even weeks unless you know what to do.

So what you need is a World of Warcraft Guide to show you the quickest way to reach the later and more interesting levels in the game. If you're horde, I can't recommend Joana's guide enough times. I have used it twice already to reach the last levels of the game. First time was probably more slow than it says but this is because there is a lot of features in the game that personally I had to get used to as I did not play World of Warcraft before, and it does have a lot of features that you will probably take time to learn although for the purpose of the guide learning the basics is very sufficient.

Anyway with the guide I used (ie Joana's) all you need to know is how to follow directions as well as following the co-ordinates that show you exactly where to go to complete the most worth while quests that will power level your character fast and easy. It is constructed in such a way that you won't be left frustrated wondering where to go next or looking around mountains and plains for hours wondering where the heck is that cave you're supposed to find in order to carry your quest out.

As mentioned earlier, you will still need to master the mechanics of the game. But the guide does also give you hot keys and further tips needed to facilitate your play. Also you can use the free guide I provide in the links below at the end of the article where you can also find reviews to other guides, including one if you prefer to play as an Alliance player which is just as good as Joana's.

Game World of Warcraft

I hope that the following article will help you to better understand this topic.

If you’re into playing video games and the like then one such game you should look into is the game World of Warcraft. This Massively Multiplayer Online Function Playing Game, or MMORPG for short, has to put it rather only taken the world of gaming by storm.

To date the game World of Warcraft boasts over a whopping Eight million people playing it, with a staggering number of people playing it at any given time. It’s a large number whichever way that you look at it, and consuming to realize how many people are populating the world of Azeroth where the game of Warcraft takes place.

The argue for this is that the game World of Warcraft is rather simply one of the best MMORPG games around. Added to this fact are the enticements which come along with it such as the ability to create a maximum of Fifty characters per account, with Ten characters permitted on a server.

Not only that, a player also has the chance of creatinga character which suits their tastes, with a better than ordinary number of character options open and available for players to choose from.At the very theme of the game World of Warcraft, players have the option of choosing a character founded on one of the two major factions which people in Warcraft.

This way that a actor can take from either the Alliance side, or the Horde side.Once they decide upon this, a participant then has the power to choose from a total of Four unlike races which are available each to a faction. This number goes up to Five races per faction if you have the new Burning Crusade expansion pack....please continue on a site that is all about this topic and more..Thank you for taking you time to read through this information if you’re interested in gathering more knowledge please continue to search this site.
